jan Samplonius

jan was born in 1897.  Jan's father was Gerardus Atzes Samplonius and his mother was Feikje Weerman (Wehrman).  His maternal grandmother was Jantje Ages Wierstra. He had four brothers named willem, Luitjen G, Atze and Hendrik.  He was the oldest of the five children.
